Sports teams shaking hands after a game--a courtesy of good sportsmanship. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose, but the competitors would still show some bloody respect for each other at the end. Those handshakes at the end were a way of teaching integrity, decency and humility--in the face of victory *and* defeat. Win or lose, you were saying, "We competed, one side won, the other didn't, but now that's over, and we'll leave the playing field in good will."

Traitor thugs are spoiled hyper-privileged brats who never learned any of those lessons. They were all raised by violent, amoral sharks who care only about winning at all costs. For them losing is not an option. Only they can win, and if something prevents that, it was because the other side cheated, somehow. Can't be that the other side were better campaigners.
