...still time for pro-invasion folks to represent those demanding restraint from Israel as extreme, before the Palestinian civilians caught in the way of the Israeli military push to confront Hamas militants make the headlines.

You do realize Palestinian civilians are dying under those Israeli bombs right now?

But here you are trying to shame this Palestinian woman for desperately, futilely trying to encourage a cessation of bombing of her own people through her nation's leadership which has openly embraced Israel's military defense intentions.

It's as if this Representative expects to be heard by her party's president. Silly her.

Rashida Tlaib is the daughter of Palestinian immigrants who in 2018 became one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress.

Tlaib supports the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, which aims to push Israel to alter its treatment of Palestinians.
