The worst horror of the multiple horrors in Israel is that children are suffering. The innocents should never ever have to suffer like this. I've had to stay away from news and twitter because I can't deal with those images.

I have an old friend who lives in Israel who was at his son's wedding there when the fighting broke out. So I couldn't reach him and feared the worst for about 48 hours.

Anyway he's fine and swears that he is in a safe area far away from the atrocities. He refuses to leave. Which I hate. And I have no control there.
