And shame on Dems for not correcting the error. There are later stories that show it was an emergency exit door alarm that is normally not set up with an exit alarm feature but was since it was a weekend day. Bowman routinely uses that exit during the week. I think this nuance matters in the telling of the story and his defense that his action was not malicious.
