For high schoolers is her big idea? Has she ever worked in a field or a factory a day in her privileged life? I've done both and they aren't jobs you can sleepwalk through while listening to classwork.

From working in the fields....and let me tell you farm work is dangerous. I just cut 2 fingers, needed 13 stitches, working in the field with a tiller. You don't need to be paying attention to something else while you work with power equipment. Even if you are just driving a tractor, it can roll on hilly and uneven ground. You have to pay attention. Taking a course while working on a farm can be very distracting and therefore dangerous.

Then the kid gets to go to a tractor factory as free labor disguised as "education". After all that heavy work, he gets to go to a real classroom at what time? 8 or 9 pm? Gets to sleep, shower and eat when exactly? At midnight?

Sounds like she has plans to turn highschool kids into free labor.
