I hate that pic, and I am very sick of seeing it, because it creeps me tf out! You just summed up what bothers me about it:

Its creepiness grows. It's not defiant in the face of surrender, it's not vengeance, it's diabolical. It's the stare of someone about to fry hundreds of thousands of people because of anger. Be very afraid.

Other people have made fun of the mugshot, saying it's all fake, he practiced his "tough guy" look in the mirror, etc. I imagine he did practice in he mirror for it, but I think he ended up showing a lot more of himself in it than he may have intended to. When I look into those piggy little eyes, I see murderous rage, and it does frighten me.

I agree that he's angry enough to "fry hundreds of thousands of people." Fortunately, I don't think he has the power to do that now. Sure, he has the power to rile up his cultists to do bad things, but I believe his days of being able to raise an army like he did on January 6 are over.

That belief, along with my resolve to do all I can to make damned sure he never has the power of the presidency at his disposal ever again, are what keep me sane these days. He's a monster, but Jack Smith and Fani Willis are getting ready to defang and declaw him. And I can't wait to watch it happen!
