Running night time trips south to a relay point halfway down to Anchorage.

Miles and miles of pitch blackness, well away from city lights.

During the trips I never saw the lights.

But when I got back to town one night, there they were!

I seemed to be right under them, so I didn't get much of the curtain effect so often seen in pictures, but it was still really cool;
