8. Hearsay is defined as an out of court statement

offered to prove the truth of the matter asserted. Statements by a party opponent (in this case a defendant) are by rule NOT hearsay. Neither are statements of coconspirators. So things she heard Meadows say could be offered against him as a defendant, and against other coconspirators, including Trump if Meadows is a coconspirator. Statements of other people would be hearsay.

Think about her testimony. So much of what she testified to was prefaced with “He said something to the affect of. . .” What followed was hearsay, unless the person saying it was a defendant or coconspirator.
