(8,824 posts)They intend to rule society, not govern. This sounds like alarmist sloganeering - but its not. If one looks into conservative thought leaders (contemporary right-wing philosophers), their goals are abundantly clear. They talk a lot about restoring the common good, and without shame openly discuss how the ends will justify the means. This explains why todays republicans are entrenched in ideology and *not* democracy.
