From the article:

Ultimately, the prosecution modified its position on disclosure to allow Twitter to let Trump know, but with an important exception: the name of the agent making the affidavit in support of the warrant had to be kept confidential.

I am very confused by this sentence since it seems to say that the special prosecutor said to Musk, "Sure, go ahead and tip Trump off, just don't give him the name of the agent filing the warrant."

So, did Musk tip trump off? Why would Smith do that if the court had told him didn't have to?
