When I have a patient complaining of dizziness, the ears are the first things I check. And I'm "just" a Physician Assistant!...

On edit: The scary thing about medical AI is that it isn't going to do anything it isn't programmed to do, or learn in a way that is counterintuitive, the way human beings often do.

Whenever a patient comes in complaining of dizziness, getting the history of present illness includes asking if the patient regularly consumes sugary beverages such as Gatorade, Powerade, energy drinks, sports drinks, Monster drinks, Red Bull, Rock Star, fruit juices, or non-dairy creamer.

My dizzy patient might confess to drinking six Cokes a day, and I get him to stop. After which, he tends to feel much better, and the dizziness abates.

AI isn't going to think to ask that of the patient.
