...a guy who was in my junior year homeroom (I left after 3 years for college, so I hadn't seen him since June '73) shot and killed an 11 year old for throwing snowballs at his car. With a 30-06 rifle.
He died of cancer, still in prison, a couple years ago.
This kind of crazy has been among us for quite a while, unfortunately.
