GOP knows that if turnout is high - they lose!

When I started hearing voter registrations were way, way up in 2020, I KNEW Trump would lose. In 2022 turnout was also high - Democrats kept the Senate, but Republicans won the House by a margin so thin they can’t do squat.

And Ohio’s “Issue 1” is a way to add on the suppression!!

And it’s just not abortion; it will also block efforts to force the state legislature to re-district and destroy gerrymandering; and make future citizen initiatives an impossibility (or successful based on how much money petitioners have.)
