41. I used to get those calls/texts/letters but no longer

I own my place free and clear, it's in a reasonably good location, and it is fixed up REALLY nice - several ceiling fans, porcelain tile floors throughout, accent walls in every room, French door on the back patio, European appliances...so it would sell for a really high price. For the first two years I had the place, I could expect at least two communications per week from a Realtor who had a family relocating from California who would LOVE to buy my home sight unseen and in cash.

Me being in a situation where (1) I REALLY like my house, (2) I'm not gonna spend another year and a half doing this to another house and (3) we need to quit importing California MAGAts and start mailing some of them back, I would never respond.

I think the bottom has dropped out of the California MAGAt market. I am aware of two people who have been trying to sell their homes. My next door neighbor needed three months to sell so they could move to a nicer home in this area. One of my friends from work is trying to move to Kansas as she has family there, and her place has been on the market so long she's fired two incompetent Realtors already.
