They kept telling me I would get the good drugs when I got old. [View all]

I did some good drugs in my 20's. Stayed high a lot.

I had a heart attack in my 40's and asked about paid meds when I was in my room, and the nurse told me they only gay it in the ER and "you are not old enough honey".

I had a heart bypass a few years later and I wasn't old enough yet for the good drugs.

I sawed my fingers with a miter saw in my 50's and still the same line, "you are not old enough honey, you don't look a day over 30".

I had a carotid artery surgery in my late 60's and still the same damn thing, "Honey, you don't look a day over 50. You are not old enough"

Well, Damn, here I am at 75. I go to the dentist and they shoot up my gums to pull a tooth. The shots take away my "green pixels". I look at my I phone to play a tune while I wait and there is no green on the screen. The phone and messages icons are yellow. I look at my watch and the exercise icon is yellow. And I am so damn high.

About 30 minutes after the shot and my green pixels came back. 6 hours later and I am still so damn high.

I guess they are right, you do get the good drugs when you get older, just not how you might expect them.
