1. I'm glad to see them soften Bush v. Gore a little.

The majority opinion in Bush v. Gore makes the troubling assertion that state legislatures can reclaim for themselves at any time the power to name Presidential electors even if it contravenes the popular vote.

While not expressly disavowing that assertion, here they at least acknowledge the appropriateness of review by state courts over the manner in which legislatures conduct federal elections.
