21. Not to mention the unwanted privacy intrusions!

I don't know how it is with anyone else on MA, but I constantly have to tell these people to stay out of my home! Okay... I'm "old school"... and a privacy nut. Also, I figure they'll use any excuse to ship me off as non compos mentis because my house isn't clean enough or I have too many cats or any such reason. Also, I just figure MY life is just that... MY life. They don't need to know anything beyond they already know.

It starts at the first of every year. Beyond the prescribed yearly checkup demanded my Medicare, there should be nothing else demanded of us. But they always want to be in the front door. Hubby is so accommodating. But I put my foot down. They want to do virtual? Fine... they can do that with him. I have my Primary doc and a specialist... both whom I see every 3 months. They have me covered. I don't need to add an administrator on top of that, and I let them know that. I've had to get downright literal in getting them to understand it, too. I don't need to add that aggravation to my life, and I've had to let them know that, as well. It seems I've had to explain what the contract is between insurance and insuree. Every year it seems like they just keep getting nosier. It's not like they don't have access in every other way possible, anyway. Now they want it from the horse's mouth! (LOL)
