They voted according to their conscience and their constituents, like we'd all like to be able to do. They were only able to do it because they knew they had to votes to pass it. If they didn't they would have voted with the rest of the Dems to prevent the default. They are not the fucking enemy.

And if you can't understand that's the way it works, that's on you.

This wasn't a great deal, it was the best we could get under the circumstances.
