To keep the computer / architect/ai from powering itself with solar power. That's the worst case scenario obviously. But it disconnecting the power worldwide is the only way to stop it as certain point we are probably screwed.

Hopefully it'll be more like the robots in big bug. Super helpful until one gets mean and then a bug kills them.
