DUers (and the left in general) regularly give Trumpers a well-deserved ration of shit for their shenanigans, and then turn around and engage in precisely the same shenanigans when it suits them to do so.

In that regard, the ride-or-die "evil white Karen" crowd are no better than the Trumpers, as far as I'm concerned. Giving one's opposite numbers shit for engaging in a behavior and then doing it oneself is hypocrisy, straight up.

Some people seem to have this weird idea that people on the left are automatically virtuous based on their positions and people on the right are automatically villainous based on their positions. The positions and ideology only go so far, though. It's the behavior that one engages in or avoids that really speaks to who one truly is.

If you hold all the "right" views and espouse the "right" ideology, but act like a jackwagon... well, you're a jackwagon. This incident has thrown that into sharp relief.
