3. I don't think that they are anti-war, just anti-Democracy.

They have been fattened on a such a diet of lies that they believe that Fascism would make for a better life. They want a god-like figure to take care of them. If they got what they they think they want, they would be among the first to suffer the consequences. I think that is funny, believing that the very first thing a Fascist government would do is disarm the population.
