I think there may be some areas of the country that are almost practically there. Depraved idiocy beyond belief in an area I drove through a couple days ago. Trump signs everywhere. I was certain, spotted I'd be considered a target with my California plates. I certainly had no inclination to stop!
But just as a thought experiment, let's give the "unwoke MAGA's" part of Arizona.
They cannot define the exact manifesto they're after although they believe they have a bead on some philosophical shangri-la.
Their "goodness" has to have an enemy to be "against". Now they'd be looking harder for those deviants among their own. They're armed to the teeth. They'd execute each other en masse within a decade of forming their own hateful state just out of the aimlessness of defining who "belongs" there every bit as bewildered as this (cough) "author".
