(9,435 posts)I heard a clip of the interview while listening to the Michelangelo Signorile Show. Listening to the clip made me question whether or not she had written the book she claims to have written. She claimed there was a whole chapter defining woke in her book. How do you write a whole chapter about a word and then not be able to define the word?
Most if not all of us at DU have written book reports for school. What was always considered a way to determine which students actually did the work? The kids who could explain their work were believed to be the ones who did their work, while the kids who struggled to explain their work were believed to be the ones who had not actually done their work. This woman looks like a student who did not actually do the reading for the book report.
Once again, how do you write a whole chapter about a word and then not be able to define that word? I do not think there was a time when I did research for a report and wrote the report but was unable to explain the report. Have you ever seen a person who wrote a book not be able to explain what was in the book?
