Some of the video from these bedraggled Russian units almost make me feel sorry for them. There are units pleading for supplies, ammunition, reinforcements. These are soldiers dragged out to the battlefield with very little training, put under local, east Ukrainian command, and then abandoned. Their wounded and dead are left where they fall. These guys are treated like garbage.

And yes, then there are the looters, rapists and criminals. No sympathy there.
