There are some things that are differences of opinions, but there are many others that are differences of plain decency as well...
I was horrified today at the comments on Yahoo! for a video of a student attacking a teacher for taking away his video game in class.

The video itself is horrifying in and of itself, ut the vitriol and hatred and invective in the comments on Yahoo! were beyond belief. "Thug", "animal", "thing", "euthanize", "execute" - all of that was in the first 25 comments before I turned it off and remembered why I do not go to the comments sections on anonymous public forums like Yahoo! in the first place.

The loss of civility, respect for the rule of law and general acceptance of fellow Americans as citizens and just human beings is staggering and growing worse. The media outlets that use violence and video footage to stir the pot of resentment and provide a forum for uncensored racism and barbarism to boot should be sued out of existence. It is beyond time for these corporate behemoths to be held accountable for their content and required to stand responsible for it at all times.

This is also not a "difference of opinion", it is literally tearing apart the fabric of the nation and its being done for profit and without any responsibility beyond protecting copyright and suing people for using too much of an image or song instead of looking at the hideous bile that is spewed everywhere without consequence.
