Olbermann made this very point this morning. The entire Republican party has become an undemocratic rabble bent on maintaining the status quo of the few to the detriment of the many (the irony is that the many includes what we refer to as the Repug base like the foot soldiers that invaded the Capitol building). The main stream media doesn't report it that way. In fact, they do almost no reporting and just pass on mindless talking points and treat everything like some sort of horse race. The Times is no better and that is especially egregious because they are supposed to be the paper of record. They have sullied their past fine reputation that was forged by actual reporters like Bernstein and Woodward and editors like Ben Bradley and replaced them with people the likes of Maggie Haberman. It's fortunate that we do have fine investigative reporters on many web news organizations.
