People who have been in war zones either fighting or working in the a war zone hospital will tell you that as they lay dying, soldiers frequently call out for their mothers.

I have a son and I can't imagine the pain I would be in if something like this happened to him. I would physically feel the pain. We are that close.

My heart just aches for this woman and for others who have to bury their sons to senseless violence in our country.
