We're too old to get pregnant, and we're not his type (i.e., young), anyway.

This kind of stuff (wanting to control what happens in the whole country instead of just in your own state) is incredibly offensive, repugnant, and just plain WRONG afaic.

If you're on your state legislature, that means you get to help make laws for YOUR state, period. You do NOT get to decide what's legal anywhere else, you do NOT get to dictate what residents of your state are allowed to do when they visit another state with different laws, and you REALLY don't get to control which residents of your state are allowed to leave your state to visit a state with different laws. If the idea that you should be able to do any of those things even crosses your mind, SHAME ON YOU.
