People don’t even know who was a major stockholder of Twitter before Elon bought it. Prince Alwaleed of Saudi’s Arabia has been a major stockholder of Twitter for 10 yrs and owned more stock than Jack Dorsey - he rolled over his stocks to Elon.

Remember these headlines

Saudi prince, who is major Twitter shareholder, rejects Elon Musk offer to buy company

A Saudi prince, who is major Twitter shareholder, says he will reject Elon Musk’s $43bn offer to buy the company.

Al Waleed bin Talal took to Twitter to say that he was rejecting the entrepreneur’s cash offer for the social media platform because it was too low. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/saudi-prince-major-twitter-shareholder-171929382.html

Interesting- at one point AlWaleed was the fourth richest man in the world, but after his cousin Mohammed bin Salmon arrested him - he had to give Saudi government holdings 17% of his holdings. https://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2018/03/13/555273/Saudi-billionaire-Prince--Alwaleed-bin-Talal-travel-ban
