3. Sure it's easy enough to get your hands on a ballot

Especially if you're in cahoots with a crooked election commission member. The tricky thing is getting it through all the safeguards to have the ballot counted. And when you've cleared all those hurdles (or think you have), you've cast exactly one fraudulent ballot out of millions of ballots. Then, when you're caught - and you almost certainly will be - the penalties might relieve you of the burden of voting ever again.

Why don't you try counterfeiting pennies, instead? At least with that, you might run into a judge who's more amused than angered that you would pull such a stupid stunt.
