2. The Secret Service is not responsible for protecting members of Congress.

That duty is assigned to the Capitol Police, even outside D.C. The Pelosi home wasn't guarded because Nancy wasn't there, but after this it seems that the homes of members of Congress should be protected at all times. Obviously the Secret Service needs investigating but this wasn't their responsibility. I do think there will be more violence related to the upcoming election and afterwards.
