6. It's such a complex problem.

I'm in Portland and agree that the street camping needs to stop. It's a public health disaster for all. I hope they can get areas set up. I'd think a big one in the close-in eastside industrial area would make sense -- a warehouse could offer shelter and bathroom facilities, but maybe there could also be an outdoor area available to people who prefer not to be enclosed with others. ... I donate to Central City Concern because they seem to tackle the problem from many angles.
