(4,792 posts)25. I grew up in Grosse Pointe.
Edsel and Cynthia dont show up in church very often, but when they do it is at Christ Church Grosse Pointe, which is where I sang in the choir and cleaned the place on nights and weekends all through high school and college. It is an Episcopal church and has nothing in common with these messed up beliefs and values of the Catholic priest down the road.
And I am willing to bet that it is all being driven by the parish priest at St Pauls. Edsel did the right thing here; he has publicized the issue and put it on the front page of the local paper. The parishioners of St Pauls will HATE that. Guaranteed. This priest will be gone shortly. Along with the crosses and signs.
