The Murdochs: Empire of Influence on CNN tonight [View all]

I want to watch this... even though I don't want to watch this... so I'm probably going to watch this.

Once slated for CNN+, the sweeping, seven-part Empire of Influence, based on a New York Times Magazine dissection of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire, premieres Sunday. “You’re seeing how he accumulates power,” says Jonathan Mahler, “and you’re watching him wield that power.”
...
Crises aside, this is a series about empire building, narrated by a who’s who of Murdoch kremlinologists and media stars. (In addition to Rutenberg and Mahler, you’ll hear from Roger Stone, Maggie Haberman, Maury Povich, Alisyn Camerota, Gretchen Carlson, Andrew Ross Sorkin, Alex Wagner, Sarah Ellison, David Folkenflik, Matthew Belloni, Brian Stelter, Abby Phillip, Kim Masters, Emily Bell, Alan Rusbridger, Vanity Fair editor in chief Radhika Jones, and many others.)
