12. 2 things. First Donald Trump expounding on - anything

is about the farthest thing from confirmation (or even suggestive) of anything - as it is possible to be while on the same planet.

and 2) any suggestion that the Saudi leadership, or government, was interested in waging jihad against the U.S. - is almost entirely a (poorly done) cut and paste mock up - of delusional conspiracy. Believe me - we looked! (and looked hard!) And the consensus was - it just didn't happen like that. Will that stop people from repeating the same foolish things 40 years from now? Of course not. We still have people feverishly 'investigating' (and basically wasting their lives on) the assassination in Dallas. Likewise, remember that we had plenty of 'people in a position to know' that were more than willing to find 'commies' under every bed during the 50s and 60s. And, guess what - those super patriots, and people 'in the know', are still with us! But, most of us - the sane among us - were ready to move on, and move forward.

We have/had exactly one Saudi, with any type of 'rank or connection' within the establishment - and that connection was apparently both fairly tenuous, and estranged. And then we have foot soldier fanatics - and as we have since found out, the Middle-east is simply awash in them. And 30 years from now - that will still be the story - unless you too want to dive down the rabbit hole.
