(4,301 posts)I am so very grateful for your support. A subscription on my YouTube channel is free, and considering I have 9k people to line up in order to secure the contract I hope to, a subscribe counts every bit as much to me as monetary contribution.
This being said, I know these are tough times all around and those who have given monetarily do very much have my gratitude. I'm looking to get some equipment which will open a new format of gaming I believe will broaden accessibility to new persons while still entertaining and informing players of all kinds who happen along to watch my videos.
It's humbling to ask for help, as said, frankly a bit embarrassing. That being said, life at $500/mo on SSI with no coverage for my medical care now is barely sustainable because I live with my folks and have their help with housing and such. If anything happened to them, I'd be dead in the water. I have to give some thought to what I can do from home and some days, what I can do while in pretty bad shape. Turning my YouTube channel into a full time commitment leads those possibilities. I'd love to make a game of my own one day, though, after showcasing the games of so many others!
Thanks for helping and giving some hope, folks. Whatever I may gain from this fundraiser, I am grateful for and will put to good use furthering the goals Steve mentioned and which are discussed in my post. A lot can be done with even a little money, and those subscriptions take me step by step toward that 20k minimum I need for the contract with the gaming-related website!
All of that being said, please only give if you can really afford to. I certainly don't want anyone going without to give me a hand. With patience, I'll make progress.
