but if you're under the impression that there isn't a whole LOT of this that goes on 'around the corner' - then you are seriously clueless as to what happens in a hospital (or any other human social) setting. It's called sotto voce - and it's going on in every institution and organization in the world. We also have this thing called an 'eye roll' - and it gets used a certain amount too.
