loophole is the worst. A person can claim they are just a "hobbyist" and not a gun dealer and then they don't have to worry about any paperwork or checks. Hobbyist? Sure you are. Several years ago I was in south Texas and I picked up a copy of the San Antonio newspaper Sunday edition. There was a whole big investigative story about the gun stores on the US side of the border selling huge quantities of AK-47 ammunition to gangs who would come across the border in vans and load up the entire van with case after case of ammunition. The article also discussed how they got the ammo back into Mexico. But the most striking part of the article was the indifferent attitude on the part of the gun store owner. He was asked if he didn't find it suspicious for one customer to be buying that large of a quantity of high powered ammunition. His answer was that it was not his concern and as far as he knew they were shooting rabbits and coyotes. Sure thing. Scum like that doesn't care about anything other than their own greed.
