Passing gun legislation that has no teeth.

We will have to wait and see what is the bill. I fear the Democrats will be happy if they can get the Republicans to agree to anything. They will see it as a win. However, the bill may not make much of a difference when it comes to gun violence. We know how Republicans are. They could say in the future, see we passed gun legislation and it does not work.

The democrats should play hardball in my opinion. They have the Republicans up against the wall on this issue. They should demand things like universal background checks at the least. Simple things that will make a difference. Gun registration, banning high capacity magazines, etc.

Maybe they will get more out of the Republicans than I am expecting, have to wait and see.
