20. This is worrisome in more ways than one

In "the old days" porn was either printed or on physical media like 8mm film, VHS cassettes and DVDs. Those things could have, conceivably, been effectively banned with raids on the creators, producers, distributors and sellers of porn.

These days, a high percentage of porn is online. To stop porn distributed online you are not going to be able to just look at the sending and receiving IP addresses of all the traffic on the internet. You will have to actually open the traffic and examine it for the presence of porn. Mr. Vance seems to be calling for the most aggressive police state in the history of the world.

Are we absolutely certain J.D. Vance is an American? This is the kind of thing North Korea does and the Warsaw Pact nations would have if they wouldn't have ended communism before the Internet era.
