4. The "proper cause" must be demonstrated in order to obtain a NY concealed carry pistol license

There are different versions of the NY pistol license. Once you get the license, you are good to go. No "proper cause” needs to again be demonstrated.

Frankly I might be with SCOTUS on this, it opens the door to judgement calls and subsequent discrimination.
