1. "Well-regulated" does NOT mean regulated well.

It means properly equipped, functioning. It's an archaic term that is essentially meaningless now because it's simply a preamble to the meat of the 2nd Amendment:

"...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Note the superfluous comma after Arms. The worst constructed sentence in the dumb Constitution.
