He makes grand claims without backing them up. Then cites a dubious source.

And then to finish his argument he cites the 'Sherlock Holmes Logical Fallacy."

"When you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be true."

And he's a professor, he knows better. His entire piece has the hallmarks of Conspiracy theory nonsense, he appeals to authority, he uses other logical fallacies, he uses catch phrases to invoke fear. This probably should be flagged for removal as conspiracy theory, but I'll leave that to someone else.
