Conspiracy theory nonsense. I have colleagues in Shanghai right now who've been locked down for weeks, and a couple caught Covid and were put into segregated housing until it passed.

And to think China would choose Russia as a partner is silly. Russia is a bit player, China needs them for nothing, they'll use them for what little they have and throw them away.

Furthermore, Shanghai's ports didn't shut down, they slowed down though which amounted to a 4 day delay in deliveries. China is just being extra careful with Covid, they are building an economic juggernaut, the last thing they want is a slowdown right now. China has much more invested in the US and other Western countries than Russia.

No idea who this Blaxland is, but he ends his piece with a clear fallacy of logic.
