…I could hear the shouts of “USA!” and “Iranians go home!” every day outside from my 4th floor office window in the math department.

One day, a friend, who had married an Iranian student and converted to Islam, stepped into an elevator in the university dorms. Five white guys got on after her, and by the time the elevator door opened, her face was covered with cuts and bruises, and she had several broken ribs.

Threads like this are dangerous for our friends, our families, and our neighbors.
