Is this the litmus test for politicians in 2022?

Of course it is, that’s why Republicans created Sophie’s choice type legislation in the 1990s forcing Democrats to choose criminal justice or TV vigilante justice. If a legislator voted against draconian punishments for all sexual crimes regardless of severity, it was a campaign black mark.

Of course it leads to Republicans even targeting other Republicans as pedophiles. You can’t make this stuff up.
