It is absurd to claim a man-made book of fables, much of it quite barbaric, is the key to human morality.

It also is absurd to try and blame atheism for the world's troubles, as the wilful suspension of disbelief necessary to believe in a god or gods is arguably the single biggest tragedy in 2.5 to 3 million years of human/hominid history.

And NO, humanity is not 6,000 to 10.000 years years old, despite what the site you posted says.
