The politics of the rethugs are totally negative. They never come up with any ideas [View all]

Or the only thing they actively pitch is to try to turn back the clock I’m sure their disgusting antics must work for them. They probably have pollsters verifying how they are doing with their target voters and it probably is smart in that way. I think TFG brought them support from people who they hadn’t been reaching in the past. A large group that vote but don’t pay attention to actual policies and how they are affected. They vote against their own best interests. And they aren’t going to alienate their core supporters. Most of those are always going to vote R no matter what. I have a brother like that. He didn’t like TFG but he “just couldn’t vote for a democrat”.

So I guess the rethugs ridiculous antics make sense for them. They can assure a significant slice of the population and then just do whatever they want. That group is not going to pay attention to their actions. Of course most of the rethugs are just finally saying out loud what they’ve always believed. We are very much at risk of losing what we’ve built on for two and a half centuries. The American experiment could fail.
