I assumed that they were making 7.62 x 39, AK ammo, but that may not be the case. Ukraine still carries AK-47s in their military inventories, but usually for training and rear echelon troops. There is no reason that the ammo maker could not be making 5.45.

I noticed today that Gunbroker.com, probably the largest gun American gun seller, to private parties, is also taking credit for that million rounds of donated ammo. Of course this brings the question of what it the NRA doing? What they always do, begging for money to save themselves.
