I don't know if the speech will provoke criticism from the far left, but it was almost entirely in line with the mainstream of the Democratic Party. Responsible leadership.

Speaking of responsible leadership, AOC spoke after Biden's speech (don't recall which channel I saw it on), and she mentioned, without a hint of sarcasm, the need for bipartisanship in Congress. That's inches away from advocating compromise and incrementalism to achieve results. Coming from AOC, that's a pretty significant statement.
